Helen Hargraves Solicitor I am a mature entrant to law. I spent over sixteen years working in libraries and raising my children. Whilst completing my law degree and subsequent NZCLE exams I worked part time as a law clerk in a law firm in Wellington which specialises in Public and Administrative Law. After profs I worked for over two years at the Ministry of Justice, first in Tribunals at the District Court in Wellington and latterly at the High Court, Auckland. All this has given me an invaluable insight into the workings of our government and justice system in New Zealand.
I have never regretted my decision to move to the “big smoke” in spite of the traffic! Recently I was fortunate enough to join LawWorks and needless to say I am enjoying every minute of it. I am really looking forward to making a full contribution to the work of the Property team and developing my interests in commercial and property law.
