Kathryn Buchanan Associate
BA/LLB Kathryn has been living in Auckland for the last two years now and has adjusted to the different way of life the big city offers. After this length of time she can no longer use the excuse she is a newcomer and has therefore lost her way.
Kathryn’s area of expertise is family law. She has been practising in this area for a number of years and has wide experience in all aspects in the field such as relationship property, day-to-day care, child support etc.
The new Care of Children Act 2004 with its emphasis on sharing the care of children following separation reflects her views in this area and she welcomes the chance to assist with working on parenting plans with clients.
Kathryn also has a particular interest in the Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act and the very real assistance which can be provided for people unable to adequately make decisions on their own.
